How To: Add Multiple Signatories and a Counter Signatory to a Sales Contract

Edited

In your contract, you can add multiple signatories to sign a contract for execution, as well as include a counter-signatory to sign for execution. These can be added within your contract template.

1. Click Contracts > Settings > Edit

2. Add your Secondary Signatory Variables

We’ll add the variables for the second signatory by clicking "Maple Variables" and selecting the appropriate options

  • Customer Org Name

  • Signatory 2 Name

  • Signatory 2 Title

  • Signatory 2 Signature Date

  • Signatory 2 Signature

3. Add your Counter Signatory Variables

We’ll add the variables for the counter signatory by clicking "Maple Variables" and selecting the appropriate options

  • Company Name

  • Counter Signatory 1 Name

  • Counter Signatory 1 Signature Date

  • Counter Signatory 1 Title

  • Counter Signatory 1 Signature

4. Click "Update"

When creating a contract, the signatories will be present. The first signatory will be populated by the Customer dropdown, and the second can be manually put in.

The counter-signatory can be skipped or assigned to an individual recipient.
