Sphere

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on generating an API key in Maple, linking it to Sphere for a secure integration. It also covers configuring the Sphere Tax API within Maple to ensure accurate tax calculations.

The first step in setting up Sphere is to get an API from Maple.

1. Go to Integrations on the left sidebar

2. Find Sphere and click Install

   

3. Click on Connect

4. You will be provided with a Company ID and Maple API Key. Keep this tab open. You will need to enter it in Sphere

   

1. In another window, go to the Integrations Page in Sphere

2. Find Maple in the Integrations list. Click Connect

   

3. Click on Get Started

   

4. Paste the Company ID and Maple API Key from Maple

   

5. Click Next, then Generate API Key

   

6. Copy the Sphere’s API Key. You will need to paste this into Maple

   

1. Paste the Sphere’s API Key copied from the previous step into Maple. Click Update

   

2. Enable Tax Calculation

   

You’re now fully set up with Sphere in Maple. With the integration complete, taxes will automatically be calculated and applied to your products and transactions, ensuring accurate compliance without extra manual work.
